Did you see me on the A303 today?

  1. Hi to all who waved in sympathy as I sat broken down coming back from Glastonbury today. A horrendous 2 1/2 hr jam at Stonehenge took its toll and we lost any power just beyond solstice services. Got home 10 hours after leaving, now to get it sorted and back on the road.

  3. Given that the 303 has the highest density of VW busses in the universe, hardly surprising :)!

Lovely road that. Did go see wood henge while you were there?

  5. having broken down multiple times on each of the A303, the A3, M3 and A30 in my time I try and avoid it and other roads with a number beginning with a 3. My usual route to Stonehenge is M4 then down through marlborough and pewsey, do as little A303 as humanly possible :)

  8. They mentioned that a camper van had broken down on the A303 on Heart radio. I knew it had to be a T2.

I like Technohippy plan if avoiding any road with a 3 in it. It was going to be my plan having conked out on the M3, A3, A303 and M23. But the A23 is right at the bottom of my road. As a Croydonian I'm stuffed. I have to go for it albeit I take Prozac when taking the bus on these roads

  10. not really, the M4 follows (give or take) one of the most major pre-roman ley lines anyway :)

  11. Is it true that they built Little Chefs where the ley lines meet...?

  12. Must be the curse of the druids. Nice to get a mention on Heart :) , would have been better on XFM though;) .

  13. sadly we were about 2 miles beyond so couldn't see any world heritage sights, apart from the broken T2 in front of me.
