Do you think the Scots should have a referendum to see if they want to have a referendum?

No doubt if they leave it will be another brexit where we still have to give them loads of money for years to come.

 

I think Nicola (and before her Alex Salmond) use the threat of referendii to lever ever increasing subsidies that the English have to pay for in taxes. They then use this money (free university education, free old age nursing homes etc) in a way that England cannot afford to copy (partly because we give this money to Scotland). So lets encourage the scotts to have a referendum. And lets also spell out the revised (equal subsidies for all UK citizens) terms if they decide to stay. My guess is that the Scots will then decide not to have a referendum and to junk Nicola at the first opportunity. It's a win-win then for the rest of the UK. We pay less in tax if they stay and we pay less in tax if they leave.
