I've finally managed to pick up a RHD microbus door for my Kombi conversion Downside is it needs the bottom 12 inches repaired as its a bit of a rotter. Has anyone done this that can give me some pointers? I can weld, but this will be a first time experience for me. Can you buy repair panels for this off the shelf or is some fabrication needed? Whats the best method for tackling this sort of repair? Thanks in advance
Have you even looked at the usual suspects for repair panels? Advice on this forum is given for free, you need to think for yourself a bit and ask when you actually get stuck.
I'm on Heritages site as i type this but i like to plan ahead, and there's nothing better than advice from people that have actually done something and learnt the hard lessons etc so thought i'd put it out there in advance so i have the info when the time comes to fire up the welder
