    As above.
Older B3L model as fitted by the Finnish suppling dealer to the syncro in 1990.

We've used this for the last 5 years. I had it bench tested and serviced by Derby Auto Electrical who are approved Eberspacher dealers before we recommissioned it.

It had had the electronic controller removed when the vehicle was sold in Finland, presumably a liability thing.

Anyway, a controller from the Turkish ebay supplier was sourced and its been fine.

The timer is in Finnish and we never used it on the daily timer function, just on and off.

It's been removed sympathetically but the rubber fuel line connectors will need replacing. As it's been underneath, the fuel pump looks a bit knarly. It was one of the items we replaced so I guess they're a bit consumable. However it was working when removed...

    Stainless exhaust.
The hideously expensive inlet silencer will need a new bit of that foil paper tube if it's to be extended.

Does it need decoking? Possibly, it never bothered us...New fuel lines...definitely. A replacement register plate for under the van will be needed but the neoprene room sealing gasket is in good order. The plates are standard across most heaters and are readily available.
The exhaust stub outlet is a little nibbled from corrosion but still safely seals which is the main thing.
I think I'd have it serviced, or at least give it a good going over but that's up to you...

What we do know is that when it was on full chat, it was awesome!

    £200 quid..

Edit..the reason we are selling it is because the van now has a Tdi engine and we've got a Planar diesel heater to replace the Eber.
Chip has had a Propex for the last 10 years and is set up for bulk gas.
I dont think I'd get away with buying another petrol van just to fit this...

Under that cover is some electrickery. The replacement brain is a bit bigger than the standard one so sits outside the cover. 20230803_150918_ZUioU84f93.jpeg

That whisp of exhaust by the rear wheel is us keeping toasty
