Been waiting ages for a good pal of mine, Luke, who is a cabinet maker and very handily has a workshop a few footsteps away from where I work, to start building the interior on dear old Eddie. Looks like it was worth the wait, here are a few pictures of progress made since Wednesday: Before pics.. [/URL][/IMG] [/URL][/IMG] And this is a sort of before, but showing the template he made for the main pod unit mocked in place.. [/URL][/IMG] Then more templates.. [/URL][/IMG] [/URL][/IMG] Then the carcass on it's side forming the curved corners.. [/URL][/IMG] And the good bit, the main carcass built and part way through being Zebrano veneered, which looked a bit fiddly to say the least......I ran away and left him to it, there was a lot of foul language !.. The home straight beckons! Luke has been hard at it this weekend, and all the cutting of panels is now complete ( excluding the buddy seat, which needs to have a pop up TV and actuator fitted, and space crated with slide out access for a portaloo..... sorry Luke ), and now looking like an interior. Bed base board shown mocked up with speaker grills and centre vents ( actually they are just a disguise for the sub woofer, and were from a boat ), and the whole unit will be oiled and waxed as we have already done with the waeco fridge door cover. The jumping out and free-falling was fantastic, the stunt turns and switch backs made me ill and I couldnt drive home!
Its not about looks dude its about actions You peformed an action that would have seen me breaking a lot of noses before i was eventually shoved out I never look right for photos when im midst action but jumping out of somthing at that height terrifies me I would build up to it for a good cause though but id still be Marmiteting myself Good on ya dude i still say
