right I've got an empi shifter fitted to the bus and while its ok everything else on the bus I've put back to stock so I'd like to put the shifter back too with maybe a reduction plate to reduce the throw. as I had a lift home in my mates splitty today and his stock shifter was a really smooth gear change even without a reduced throw. opinions please from those who have both and those who have good stock shifters
Generally linkage bushes are the key to stock being good, be wary if your thinking of getting a 'new' stock shifter i got one from JK and it seemed a little short. i now run a bugtech shifter in mine but tbh stock was good too.
