Hello my technical Gurus. OK, distributor is off, heads are off. All going very well. I have a few questions. 1. When undoing the head nuts I found that a few of them came off with the shaft. I assume this is normal? Should I replace the shaft? 2. Any tips what to look for in the barrels? I intend to get new barrels and pistons anyway, but just trying to learn a bit about what to look for. Cheers!
1. remove nuts, and put the stud back into the case 2. a step at the top, and a glassy/polished surface shows that the barrels are pretty worn!!
