Ive seen a few adds selling engine tins especially the rear tin ( front of engine) for 3 figure ammonts and actually selling... are the rear ( front of engine ) tins hard to find, does no one remanufacture them .. Ive had a look at mine and can see there made in 2 parts ( with the exception of a couple of covers for the heat risers ) .. These would be easy enough to make albeit fabricated and not pressed, even easier without the funky swaged patern...Would it be worth buying a good clean repro tin thats rust and paint free ( if they were available) for the same kind of money ? like wise new tin for rusty heat exchangers ???
