Ex-lurker....

Discussion in 'Introduce Yourselves' started by Cheddarman, Jan 16, 2012.

  1. Evening all......I'm cheddarman and I've been lurking on here for a while so thought I'd better introduce myself.

I've got an oriental blue and white '73 bay, 1700, pretty much stock with a home made interior (previous owner). Billy has caused me grief for much of the 4 years I've had him, but he's in the good books having behaved during my relocation from sunny Norfolk to not so sunny Basingstoke!

Anyway, ill get some photos up some time, but in the mean time can anyone recommend an understanding MOT man (or woman) in or around Basingstoke?

Hope to on here and contributing to all the useful chat!

  15. Hello & welcome to sunny Basingstoke. I live about 15 miles away, but drive to Basingstoke everyday in my van - so if you see a long queue.....it's probably me at the front! ::)
I get my van MOT'd at New Farm Services in Alresford. The MOT guy seems firm but fair.....all you can ask really.

  16. welcome to the site,

    enjoy your stay :)

  17. Hi and welcome, how are you and your six toes fitting in?

  18. Thanks for the warm welcomes guys. Pleased to say that Norfolk was not my true home, so just the 5 toes per foot here!

Will get some photos up as soon as I've worked out how....

Have found the Happydaze website for aircooled lovers round these parts - anyone know if its still going (website looks like its been idle a while)
