Let's have your predictions for 2012 I'll go first! 2012 to be dominated by: Red Bull V Mercedes AMG GP Newey V Brawn Vettel V Schumacher Vettel to be crowned World champ for 2012, Schumacher second (but to sign again for 2013 and become World champ for the 8th time in 2013 before retiring). Hamilton to easily beat Button to third place. Rosberg 5th. Webber 6th. You knows it!
I just want Vettal, Schumacher, Button and Hamilton to all have comparable cars so we can all see who really is the best. Lets face it, when Schumacher came back to F1 the excitment was about seeing if the new batch of drivers were as good as Schumacher in his prime
I predict that i will watch the races on the beeb and not the ones on Sky and that Moto GP will be a far better spectacle!
Ermm, too early to tell, is this a wish list or serious predictions? cars all not seen in anger until this thursday when free practice 1 starts, i honestly doubt Schumi has the nerve now, he just is a bit too old, i don't doubt his drive or the way he feels he needs to prove a point but i don't think he will, as much as i'm not a fan Vettel is up for triple crown so let's see.....hamilton i don't rate but he is a contender if he's happy, i'm hoping Button does it again this year and i predict some points for caterham and hopefully Kimi will show his cool if the Renault is any good - i can't call it a lotus..... Put on the spot Vettel 1 Hamilton 2 Button 3 wish list Button 1 Massa 2 Webber 3 getting excited for saturday quali to see now, and already can't wait for 6am sunday.
Can't see past Vettel, not that he's fat but he's a very good driver in the best car Interesting to see what Hamilton turns up, the clever, exciting one or the other one that just gets impatient and drives into everything Button will do well and seems to becoming no1 at Maclaren now. I think Alonso and Massa could be good outsiders to cause a few upsets if Ferrari can up their game. I predict: Vettel Button Hamilton With Webber and Alonso there or there abouts.
Looking forward to the new season on saturday. May even get up to watch!! Hope the rest can give red bull a run for their money this year. But I think i'm gonna go Vettel Button Webber Unless Hamilton gets out of his spoilt brat stage and gets on and races like he can. But would prefer to see JB win again!! Kimi could provide some spanners in the works which add to the entertainment Ps Hate the new look of most of the cars with their boxers nose Anybody been watching the season reviews on sky from the 80's / 90's Forgot how much the sport has moved on.
Tighter than last year with Vettel edging it still. More wins shared around but 3/4 drivers fighting for the top 3 spots. Me losing interest as I can't watch all the races.
i think we really need a F1 thread that those of us who genuinely like the sport can discuss/chat on while this season runs, we have a few different threads running, can we modify this or summat? what do you think guys?
Vettel, run close by Button. Then Schumacher, Hamilton, Raikonen. Kimi will win Spa and Suzuka, podium finish and possible winner at Monza. Paul di Resta will be second in each of these races Ferrari will flop spectacularly, Pat Fry and Massa will be fired mid season. Alonso will be seen crying at soe point and his eyebrows will get bushier Webber will bitch and moan as usual.
Either The new super mature Hamilton will accumulate podiums and win it with a race or 2 to go Or more likely Hamilton will have a couple of bad races, chuck his dolly out of the pram and Vettel will cruise away while the rest take points and wheels off each other Went for Hamilton, Raikonen, Di Resta and Rosberg in my fantasy team so going against my instincts anyway
At the moment I'd say it's between the Bulls & McLaren, with Mercedes & Lotus hovering close by. Of course you can never discount the boys from Maranello, but I can see Alonso throwing his toys out of the pram if things don't improve rapidly. I'd love to see Williams or Caterham just get up close to the front runners but if they get some decent points it would be nice. Ideally for me at the end of the year 1. Webber 2. Button 3. Rosberg
i was aware it was on and was gonna try to avoid all media contact and just watch it later, same as the british gp is when camperjam is on grrrrr
Honestly! You'd think Bernie & Charlie would have more consideration & organise the F1 schedule around VW meetings.
