    Are couple of surreal things I remember from the tv of my childhood

    I suppose I could add my Nan and grandad standing up for the national anthem at the close of the nights programmes and then closing the concertina shutters on the front of the set before retiring to bed, but no one would believe me!

    Do you have surreal memories from your childhood?

    Watching my grandad get his dinner out of the bin when he got home late on sunday for his dinner :D. we played queeny queeny whos got the ball is she fat or is she small :D watch with mother :lol:

    Haha! :) I interviewed Chris Tarrant about that clip and a load of other stuff last year for a DVD I was involved in making for MACE, all about ATV Today. It is packed with loads of stuff like this from Tarrant and John Swallow. CT was hillarious in his recollection of this bloke though.

    well, it was quite embarrassing for a young chap to be taught crochet by an older relative.








    wait a minute! you thought harry played hunt the sausage? ewwwww mind bleach please.







    he saved that for my sister.

    actually he gave me lessons on the pink oboe. I was rubbish at fingering so trumpet wasn't my forte.
