Decided on a whim to pop over the border to Cornwall last night...... Found a lovely campsite which was recommended on here 'DoubleTrees Farm' St Blazey near St Austell....... Free hookup, free showers which were spotlessly clean, amazing views, lovely people, only slight gripe was that we needed some stronger pegs for awning as ground rock hard.... All for £15.... Great value...... Everything was perfect until the wind started which got progressively gale force as the evening went on.... The older dog isn't able to jump up onto bed so slept on the floor..... Not the case for for the little monster who thought Christmas had come early by burying herself under the duvet. I spent the evening either on my side wedged up against the cupboard or taking her out for yet another wee..... Whilst him indoors slept through everything...... and in more comfort than me!!!! Have come home totally exhausted and at this moment in time never taking them away with us again....... The people who pitched up next to us in the splittie wisely left their dog at home and now I see why....... Well I guess it's part of the experience........
