fitting a jk stainless exhaust system (T1)

    very well made, easy to fit and everything lined up as it should. good groung clearance (unless you get stuck at summercamp)



    first remove your tin wear (the big bit) and the hose pipes etc etc

    remove your old exhaust, whatever it may be. probably need to undo 4 10mm nuts on heat risers and the 13mm ones to heads and the clamps on heat exchangers.

    get your header

    put the new bits on the lips :)

    offer up (haynes term) the header and do up all the new nuts and bolts

    pop the backbox on

    i used a jack to take weight so it lined up right (not right pic but you get idea)

    finally check everthing is fitted tight, that you haven't got any bits left over and then fit your tin again, stand back and smile :)

    Very pleased. Still as new (apart from the dent I put in it when I got it wedged going into summercamp last year)
