Front belly pan

  1. Anybody, know if the front belly pan under the pedals is different for lhd and rhd or are they all the same? i would think they the same but wanted to check with y'all cos you is the shiz x

  5. From what I've seen, there are at least 2 different types... mostly the amount of bolts that holds them on... not sure about lhd/rhd version

    Early ones are different to lates

  8. Well if they are different it doesn't seem to make much difference, the belly pan on mine was on it when it was LHD and its RHD now and still fits, i never noticed any "handedness" :)

    Just had a look at mine, 76 RHD camper and 79 LHD pickup both belly pans look exactly the same to me.
    Hard to get a picture cos the pickup is up on ramps at the back so the front is pretty low.
     
  11. There is a large hole in it, underneath the steering box ( to let the oil leaks out? ), so I imagine that they are meant to be handed.

    Both mine got the hole in the same side, to the right as you look under from the front!

  14. I think it's just a water drain hole.

    realised as i left wed forgotten show and tell, never mind

    hole is water drain, your drain pipe for front panel air vent box exits within the elly pan

    No he's not! And the steering box isn't above the belly pan...
