I bought a quick shift kit for the T3/T25 & I was impressed by the quality. It was also easy to fit for a mechanical numpty like me.

  3. So in your experience it is the real deal? dunno how I deal with the import tax ? do i pay it with the bill for part(s) ?or does customs send a separate bill 1st? >perhaps also its diff. re other countries?

I can't fault the quality, the stuff I bought came in under the threshold for import into Aussie so there was no tax or duty to be paid. I don't know what the story is in the U.K.

You'll get a bill on delivery which you have to pay there and then. You also get fleeced for an admin charge as the courier pays at time of import on your behalf.

  6. Or ask them to ship it quoting a zero value 'for repair' on the paperwork and don't pay any duties

  7. Yep, bought a Berg shifter. It's very fine stuff, although Berg's deliveries can be a bit erratic.

If stuff is shipped by Fedex, any charges will be paid by Fedex, which you in turn will pay for. Think shipping for my shifter was £35, which isn't bad.

Best to ring them up in CA to order - there is (or was) a lady who specialises in shipping stuff outside the US. Very helpful.

Most places won't do that anymore though.
