  1. if youve got an old cardboard one that you want to keep. 5 parts water to 1 part PVA glue mix is pretty damn good. paint it on, do a couple of coats and itll be solid for years to come ;)

  2. Then spray the inside VW grey. Sorted!

  3. Have I tuned into Blue Peter?

  4. I was tempted to mention sticky-back plastic...

  5. hmmm hadnt thought about PVA .......time to raid the kids art and craft box :D

I take it the PVA wont react with rattle can spray?

  6. I have a tatty box too (oo er ) I am in the process of making a vac forming tool out of high density foam,
and then vacforming out of abs and then flocking the inside in fushia pink.

On mine there was a molding line which seemed to be the right dimension.

  8. wouldn't have thought so.

  9. Heres one we made earlier...:)

  10. Why not make a few if your doing a mold!

  11. I might do for my usual fee and i can flock in any colour too

  12. Usual fee?

  13. Yet to work out the cost, but the more i make the cheaper it gets.I doubt i could compete with JK
Mine will be custom coloured flock and have a ridge inside to stop things sliding around.

  14. Sometimes it's not about competing, it's about making a higher quality product!!

  15. Very true,i have been a designer maker for the past 20 odd years and some people still fail to grasp the concept of a higher quality product.Still at least i can say no nuts or horse meat was used in the making of this product.
