  1. Top result for the Tour of Britain....third stage win for Cavendish and Sir Wiggo wins the Tour . Best thing to have happened in british sport for a long time IMO...that and Sir Dave Brailsford:cool:

We have arrived in Florence today not realising that the UCI world championships are taking place here - Wiggo is in the time trials on Wednesday

This years tour of Britain has been brilliant its going from strength to strength every year. crowds have been massive everywhere and some big superstar names have competed, I think it could be a two week race soon then maybe one of the big tours of the future overtaking the vuelta espana maybe as the third biggest

  7. looking forward to the Tour de Leeds! tried booking a campsite at holmfirth three days after the route was confirmed....fully booked! Hoping to get my bus back together by then...then getting stuck in the traffic along with everybody else. Don't quite know how they're going to manage here, as when the tour takes place in france, the tour company owns the roads temporarily...hence thousands of motorhomes lining the verges...can't see UK landowners being quite so accommodating tbh.
Time trial in Knowsley safari park! hope they go through the baboon enclosure:D

  11. Also clashes with Camper Jam weekend.
Wonder if Harewood House would open a field to camp in considering they host VW Festival but I am interested.
