I can't say I've ever seen a post about this and I don't remember reading it anywhere, so.... When greasing up the front and rear beam, how do you know when you have put enough in? Does it splurge out the ends or is there a specific amount you should use?
Good start, doing my annual lube jobs. Lol Not anal lubes jobs, get your minds out of the gutter. Hahaha
Just remember to jack the beam up sufficiently to allow the anti roll bar to move out of line with the central nipple. Greasing with the suspension in its normal position usualy results in poor penetration...
I would have to jack it up anyway as I wouldn't get under it the height it is, also my ARB is inverted so the nipples are free and easily accessible. This could all go horribly wrong. Just waiting for the corrections. Lol
I was under the impression that you attach the nozzle and keep pumping away until a lot of it splurges out, then keep pumping again - that way you are replacing old grease with new. Careful where you are looking mind as some can often fly out and catch you in the eye, and you don't want to let the spend fluid to simply spill on the drive as it leaves a persistent stain that requires a great deal of hand giggling to lift off.
Fellas ,ever considered therapy ? the bloke was asking re his bus (or , did I miss something /get it wrong again?)
on the front middle one there is a small hole above the nipple you know youve put enough in when it comes out of there. I did mine using an ancient grease gun inherited from my grandpa who worked as an engine designer for Bentley and Lagonda, love using old tools.
