VWH did do a better quality step , it was dearer but a far better fit , i would aso give Alan Schofield a ring they do some better quality panels :)

Another vote for fitting a complete genuine arch. Those steps are the spawn of the devil. I refuse to fit them if asked.

A customer provided one for me once so I had a go. The two parts didn't fit together and neither bit fitted the van. After wasting a morning I squashed them with my lump hammer and ordered a complete arch.

On another note, they don't look like they'd last long even if you got them fitted.

  11. Totally agree zed the inner n outer dont match up along the bottom seam nor along the too join, the quality of the inner is SHOCKING and the outer will not line up with my original profile of my arch! Grrrrrrrr. Think i might have to order the combined inner n outer jobbie from vwh and see how that fits, if it dont ill return it i guess:(

Bit of advice , post up in your resto thread and always ask what the score is re buying panels , this lot advised me wonderfully , bit late now i know and i am sorry to compound your misery but it really is worth asking as there is some real poor fitting panels out there .

  18. Cheers fella ironic thing is this is my last bit of welding!!!!! Grrrrr. Everything else done, but a good point ive had my fair share of Marmitee panels past few years
