Could you sell the strap-on separately?

 

Either put the beam back on, and wipe the green off it, or if you can’t be arsed, eBay, no reserve, buyer collects.

I have zero enthusiasm for it.
It's taken me a week to take pictures of it, I really CBA or have the time!

To be serious for a minute, is this the sort of thing anybody on here would be likely to take on?
I'm inclined to agree with zed and if somebody on here wouldn't bother, then it's scrap.

 

It's not just the cost but the constant drain on time. I really don't want to spend every second weekend under a vehicle maintaining it in what ever way, I'm old, I'm tired, and have better things to fill my time with.

 

Currently it's immobile and it will be craned/dragged out for scrap(after I've removed the good bits to sell ).

I agree but managed finished mine first. It was the last "mechanicing" energy I had. Now it's just small things and I can't remeber having to do anything major for the past 7-8 years. If something does crop up that's more than messing about I pay someone else.

 

If it was rolling, at least someone could pull it onto a trailer?

 

If it was rolling, someone would buy it and restore it for sure! People still do it, even if it no longer makes economical sense.. maybe not as much as ye olden days, but it still goes on.

 

Have you looked at your lightsteer kit lately? I'm glad I didn't buy one now - I'd have to fit it!

All hinges on you finances and energy levels really ! Just weigh it in if you can afford to , Alternatively sell it on ebay or break it up for spares .The achillies heel in all of this is that it is not rolling .
