I once saw a thread on another well known forum. A 20 year old young man was fixing up a rough looking bus with his dad. He let his girlfriend paint smiling sunshine’s on it too. It was a rough job; lots of filler and rattlecan, but they got it running and he ended up using it to go to the beach to hang out with his buddies and his gf. Of course, some of the old grinches on the forum made fun of his work and I wondered whether I would rather be a crabby old man with a pristine example sitting unused in my driveway...or that guy. Hmmm...that’s a tough one.
Hmmmm... being really picky, the pattern is too small, Bays lend themselves to big flamboyant patterns better (but yeah, better than beige)
I hand painted my Datsun 100A with blue Hammerite paint. Dark blue on the bottom to the bottom of the windows, then the pillars and roof light hammerite blue. It looked ‘frosted’.
