im not sureif this was supposed to be in here or the mech & tech. But yesterday i made myself some nice bumper overrider templates, my plan was to copy it to sheet metal, cut them out, weld together with a strip, and make myself a nice pair of front and rear over riders. but then i thought... has anyone actually done this? in theory it sounds pretty easy but getting the smooth corners could be tricky, heat and then hammer to a curve maybe? if not does anyone know where they can be found? i gather its hard to find some over riders for less than £300 odd.
C and c do some too http://www.customandcommercial.com/vw-baywindow/bumper_parts/early_rear_bumper_parts/german_quality_bumper_overrider_front_or_back_68-72_5458/ I know these are for early_bays ;D
