Seems im not wrong in the head after all i just grew up in a period that has different ideas about life
Not watched it yet, but will do. Dont think you grew up in the wrong period, maybe just the wrong area! We used to go to quite a few of their raves, A time before widespread mobile phone use, the drill was wait by the 'Sellotape' roundabout in Dunstable for midnight, then wait for their armoured tank with the flashing red light to arrive, then everyone would go off in convoy to a warehouse or field set up with a massive sound system, £1 or 2 in the bucket on the way in, dance alot etc* etc*, come home the next day. Lots of pills, dumped stolen astras/cavaliers, lots of happy people, and never any trouble. They did alot of good local projects that never got properly recognised, as the Police were at war with them over their illegal raves, squatting, drug use etc etc, Imo though, as with most people round here who remember it, they were a good lot.
im an old cheesy quaver aswell but everything i attended was a wallet rape pure and simple Apart from the free partys in woodlands where you were in the best company in your area if you got an invite Ive watched the vid all the way through today as id watched the documentory years ago The drugs aside i think they local council and the backhanders got threatens when a group of people got together and actually started to make things better Being unemployed is not a bad thing Being un employed and sitting on your arse not attempting to do anything productive is bad for your health
