Hi can anyone help with this switch please - is it standard (looks like it ) , previous owner said didn’t know what it does it just a on/off with 2 wires - one next to hazard lights pics attached - thank you in advance
Is your bus one with factory fitted windows or a converted panel van? The original micro bus / kombi / mini bus / call it what you will, had an interior courtesy light in the back for the passengers - a simple two position On/Off. Could it be this? The interior light has probably long gone, but the switch remains? I repurposed mine for the fog light.
In ours it switches the power to the radio. So to turn our radio on, you need to pull that switch, and turn it on on the radio. It runs to an old block before leading on to the radio, so it might have turned on the power to other electrics at some point? Don't know if that is what it was originally intended for.
Ours has one in roughly that position. It works the interior lamp in the cab above the front seat backs. It was originally a minibus.
Thanks all - suspect it’s interior lamp , I’ll trace it but when pulled headlining out the wires are taped off for rear lamp ..
Sorry mate , it’s wired into rear seats now to eject winging kids as well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
