see ,me and sis are left handed, mum and dad right handed,just wondering(wot the milkman "s handedness was)< which none of you guys will know ,I realise ,and what the jeff are left handed scissors? cannot even visualise same?

I'm another who would of been burnt on a stake, as sinister (left handed in latin!) and associted with evil, but I generally switch between them often...as we live in a right handlers world! Also my brother and mother are left handed too, maybe genetic but could be nurture. I often read magazines/books (obviously non fiction!) from the back, have got a left handed ruler, and had a left handed chequebook, and still remember being told off a school for smudged writing - as had to use fountain pens
See that's it Paley, re Darwinism, there must be a reason for being left handed, apart from being the most likely candidate to be burned at the stake in days past/sword fighting a dude on a spiral staircase? my prompt re my original post was , I had to fill out a form today down the council office and lady in Company ,who supplied form ,said ,"oh, your left handed"????>me? Doh !!!
only archery, the rest of the time right handed. I mate of mine went to school where they forced left handers to write with with their right hand and made them put their left hand behind their back. Most of the time he simply put his right hand behind his back and the teacher didn't notice.
I started life of being left handed but me father would put anything I picked up left handed into my right hand. As a young child I would refer to left handed people as cock handed until it was pointed out I should say cack handed.
