Hi there!

  1. What a great forum!! Thought i'd take a minute to say hello.
My name is Keith and i have had a life long passion for classic vehicles. With a growing family we decided to get our first bus around 12 years ago to use for weekends/holidays, little did i know what a life changer that would be!
I am a car trimmer / upholsterer by trade so get to work on some fantastic vehicles most of which are VW.
    We currently run a T5 shop bus, a 64 Split Std microbus, a New Bug cabriolet, Citroen 2CV, 3 Lambrettas a 61 S2, a 65 S3 and a 63 chopper.
A few weeks ago whilst sourcing a camper for a customer i came across a project 79 Bay Window bus with factory sunroof and yes you guessed it is now sat at work waiting for me to get going on it!!!
    Keith.

  8. Cheers for the welcome guys,

I will get a pics up as soon as i get a minute (and figure out how to!)
As far as the Bay goes not sure if i should "camper" it as the vendor threw in a Westy rear elevating roof or keep it as a microbus. The interior is empty so its a blank canvas.

  9. Welcome dude ill look forward to the pics

  16. Hello & welcome....we need pics of your collection! :)

  17. Ok, I ve read the "how to post pics" so will give it a go this week.
The Splitty has been in the garage since September last year so i'm gonna book it in for MOT this week (fingers crossed).
I can take a pic of the T5 shop bus 2morra as i use it daily for my 300 yard commute to my workshop!!!!
The 2CV is also at work waiting for a break in the schedule so i can finish the new ragtop. This was the wifes daily untill the end of last year and is great fun to drive.
New project Late Bay Microbus will have its portrait taken aswell in the morning ready for posting up.
As for the scoots, the SX is stripped ready for resto which i plan do do as an Arthur Francis S Type replica (for those in the know). I have been collecting period correct accessories for years for this one. The Chop is well buried in the shed and hasn't been out since i went to Llandudno National rally on it around 4 years ago. I do have a few pics of it when it was being photographed for a scooter magazine feature but not sure if its appropriate to post as it has a topless model posing on it!! I will post it up if i get the nod :)
The Series 2 Lammy is having the barrel re nicasil plated ready for some summer rally action, can't wait ;D

  18. Ok here goes with some pics (hopefully)

Gone but not forgotten. This was my rally bike for 13 years. It was one toy that had to go when i was raising funds for the Split together with my T25 and T4!
