We would like to introduce ourselves, we are Dave and Jeanette from near Brighton. We are the proud owners of a 72 Bay crossover model with full genuine Dormobile conversion. Our camper is called Kermit after a nickname between me and my better half 30+ years ago, Kermit is mango green and Pastel white with period roof rack at rear. We venture out in Kermit as much as possible having only had him 6 months, he has taken us and our collie on 2 holidays and has a colour match trailer. We used to caravan alot but got bored and after 3 years eventually purchased our dream camper. We are slowing putting our stamp on it as it was renovated by a gent called Stuart in Waterlooville and has a 1600 twin port engine built with the help of Pete from Funkenblitz in Portsmouth, it has an Engle cam and twin carbs coupled to a Fat boy exhaust. We are often seen at the VW heritage meets and are members of Sussex Volkswagen owners club, we took part in VW heritages Santa Cruise and have been to a couple of VW shows.
