Thankyou all for your lovely greetings! I look forward to meeting some of you soon. The Riviera is off the road at the mo due to MOT next week, not fair when I saw quite a few bays today heading off to the easter weekend. Also does anyone know how you agree with a spec VW insurer on an agreed value? Do they evaluate it themselves, Dave Dickenson style?

Cherished insurance just wanted photos of both sides, front,rear and interior.
They let me set my value. I think up to 12k they don't ask questions I guess if you want more they will ask more questions, send someone out or ask for a valuation certificate from a club or something.

Most insurers will just want pics - they ask for front, back, both sides, engine bay and interior. As Bigdaz said, if its a high valuation, they may want an official VW club to do a valuation and provide a cert.
