How come things ive searched for on my computer at home appear on the previous searches on my phone?

 

Because its the same account accessed from 2 different devices.

Ever noticed you get a lot of adverts now for pages you have previously looked at? Its the same thing......

Google are the likely culprits. Make sure you log out on both devices.

I was told by my brother in law that my phone knows where it is all the time and someone with the right software can locate my posistion

Yes and no. If you've got GPS turned on, then your phone knows where it is, but it's likely not running all the time as it drains the battery. It's unlikely anyone could interrogate your phone for it's position without software on the phone agreeing to it.

Never trust anything that brother-in-laws or neighbours say ...
