Unfortunately, it won’t stop them lifting it onto the back of a transporter which is how I’d imagine most are stolen. I’m not 100% convinced that that many are actually stolen. Some of the daft agreed valuations that people have; it must be sorely tempting...
Rather keep the van and bug than loose them to thieves, more of me in them than even agreed value will return.
if you park that close to the house the whole time, i'd be tempted to put a big motorcycle chain on it, bolted to the house/floor. Can't be lifted /dragged away then.
