So I have power to horn I have power to steering wheel If I earth from the brass on the circle thingy on boss to a screw Next to it i get a beep,if I earth somewhere else no beep If I put wheel on and press nothing So what am I missing?
do you mean you're bypassing the brass tab on the column which touches the bottom of the stearing wheel? if so, check the brass tab is clean and touching the brass circle on the wheel. edit. Sorry, i stupidly assumed this was a late bay question, just seen your other thread.
The electrics on mexi bugs are shocking dude The centre of the column should be earthed via a link at the bottom of the column where the rubber coupling is... likely as not, that is where your problem lies!!
What Paul said. I had to run a wire down the centre of the steering column to get mine to work. Comically I later changed the wheel and now my Horn goes off every time I go left!
