How tall is a standard van

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by dookie, Feb 16, 2024.

  1. Afternoon all

I'm thinking about putting my van back to a standard height. At the moment it's lowered and I can fit in the local car park. So can anyone tell me the height of a standard van on standard shocks.

If I'm honest I want to rise the van high (really high). Its been lowered for to long now

    Cheers

  2. My tin top was an aggressive character

    fierce clutch
    awkward to drive
would never give way to merging traffic

I think it had Short Van Syndrome..........

  5. I've got a Devon top on mine and I think thin car park is 2m high so it might be tight

  8. I've got a late Devon roof with vents, and it's about 2.1m - too tall for a car park with a height barrier :(

  13. I have Monroe Ride-Leveler shocks only at the rear - to keep the vehicle standing upright even when the rear is well loaded.
Typically, bay windows without the driver (weight) stands quite high at the front.
For mine it brings around 4cm - without pushing the limits.
