  1. As I shall most likely split my bus for sale and scrap what does not sell , Any you guys ever sold a large vehicle part and had to get it moved cross country? i.e. engine/g/box/beam, if yes ,what method did you use re packing/transport? assume pallet or crate?any company known re good/safe transport of goods or is it take a chance ? ta for advice

  2. Boot of my car. I've lugged around 20 engines in it.

    Best is freight forwarding
    :)

  3. Plenty of palletways/palletline type companies offering their services.
Or use the TLB network, it's amazing what you can get shifted with a little patience.

  5. Paisley Freight list items such as doors , gearbox etc

  6. I've used PaisleyFreight.....good service and well priced. I mainly send wheels and tyres with them but they've always delivered the goods for me (pun intended lol)

  7. I'm getting a complete type 4 injun delivered on a pallet to me this week for £40. I'll let you know the company name and address when it arrives
    :)

  8. I've started using parcel monkey... pallet goods go via nightfreight...

I've also got a local independant courier near me, so I'm going to have a chat with them at some point about shipping goods and the costs!! Cut out the middle man, so to speak!! :)

  9. Ta for info , shall investigate Co"s mentioned , nowt wrong with bus , no "scene" really in Scotland , imo would seem more sensible to break and sell and scrap whats left over, Mind is concentrated on other fings now ,simply have to get rid.

  10. put it on here complete, then if it don`t sell ,break, you have nowt to lose, and a lot to gain,"scene",even less in France, but I don`t mind, but hard to get parts, but ,hey ,ho...

  11. Most prob correct L.E.F. , me not a seller of vehicles and to be totally "down the line" about this situation , it seems to me to be a lot of work to sell it, so options I am looking at are sell bit by bit or leave in garage ,stop paying garage rent ,and let the garage owners deal with it (prob scrap it ,them would) thou as a ,at the time, anti theft clever thinking scheme ,I removed the twin Dells which are now sitting on livie sideboard as a display item, who said there was a limited thing to do with an unloved /unneaded bus?

  12. Give us a picture at least ,a good cash offer might come from it...:D

    PSG

i would think it was more work to break it for parts...:thinking::thinking:

unless you are on Orkney, im sure you would be abled to sell whole.
