I'd like to win the sort of money that would allow me to drop out for a couple of years and travel in the campervan.

Surely it's not 'dropping out' if you've got a lot of money, it's just choosing not to work.

No big deal ,but she is interacting with society on a weekly /daily basis,i.e. her clothes , her going to shops ,her punting out living experience to others for a wedge, /pay rates,hardly "outside society ,esp .as Daily , ultra right wing fail are paying for the story,fair play to her ,thou I am of opinion that only those truly outside society ? we do not know where ,cos they really are outside society.

 

I suppose it isn't, because you're still using money to feed yourself and fill the campervan with fuel, but just disengaging with the whole rat race of work appeals to me.

 

I can't believe she still has to pay Council Tax. It would be hard to do though - with all the water-logged land and like this winter we had three foot of snow for about two months - that must have been a nightmare to live with in those conditions. I think I'd like to live in my van and not a mud hut. Not sure about that toilet either when there's no grass to put in it. Imagine the rats...... and the possibility of local thugs attacking you..... Maybe I'll just carry on as normal then!

 

Is this part of the "Hobbit House" settlement? That's in Pembrokeshire as well. You can buy one provided you build it yourself rof about three grand. I'll find the link later on. Actually, I don't beleive this is a a woman. Of course, i've no proof.

Trust me on that one "living in a bus " >>>sucks big style ! I had to do it for far too long ,campers, whatever bus you own, are not for all year living ,even ,like myself at the time you are resigned to it.One big prob ,aside to all the others ? every time you leave bus ,you either have to take with you all your important stuff, i.e.legal docs ,or trust to fate ,and I did know a guy who had his bus stolen ,it was a nightmare for him.each to their own ,but big no from me.
