Advice please, p/o fitted twin dells, assuming there are various twin dells that could be fitted to a bus,? where is the I.D. No."s? on mine, as i will at some point prob get a rebuild/service kit for them, along with the carb book <anyone got that book ? if yes, any good? ta for advice.
They're normally either "Baby Dells" FRD34s I think, or DRLA 36 / DRLA 40. No idea where the id is though sorry!

Well the thing is baghead , so was my reply post ,surely you can see the undercurrent of humour? meanwhile as it turns out my own 84 year old mother , having just come in from the workshop, after a hard day turning a gear on the lathe, claims to have indepth knowledge of Dell carbs . so problem solved.(now, where did i put my glasses ?)

OK on a serious note .. Your post didnt say they have no numbers on them .If they are real deloroto carbs they will have it on them what they are , hence even my mum could tell what they are . 36 ,40 DRLA`s will have it cast in the side as will the rest . If you post a picture it may help .Even the cheap copies should have id marks on them . The old dear does also have the superformance book and also said eurocarb know all there is to know and will supply rebuild kits /jets /advice .
my mum couldn't , i asked her and she said it's a small cheese like Edam and the only numbers on them are £1.99 and sell by 17 01 13 she says they did babybel and mini babybel's ? Hope this helps in some small way !
