  1. It could be, no I ll pinch myself. Yep not dreaming. By all things sacred! The great despoiler of drives has stopped leaking oil!!! And its not empty. Thank you very much everyone who has ever posted about that dipstick bellows, it had me completelly foxed hiding away up there.
Now I can park up with a clean concsience. All though when we go to the mother in laws I ll take a squirty bottle of old oil. Hee hee.
    Time for a fine malt

  2.

  3. Oh bum! On closer inspection looks like the seals on the driveshafts are weeping :( Anyone got a adjusting ring removing gizmo for gearbox. I ll gladly pay for loan in beer, gin or first born. If nobody has one I ll get myself and loan out to members.
If its not one sort of oil, its another

  4. Aww I was going to congratulate then saw your last post...

    Yeyy......naaaayyyyy :(

  5. what
whats it look like this gizmo thing ?

  6. Its a socket thing(technical term) goes into the ring adjuster once the drive flange and lock plate have been removed. Its about 20mm in diameter and has a lot of teeth. The O ring has gone so gear oil is leaking. Have drifted them loose in the past, but it butchers them. There's a gadge in the states makes them, but they're £70-80 a go. Gearbox code specific I think

  7. Nope, I've tried, I've read that post three times now and I still can't get past the word "flange" :D

Sorry to hear of your woes, am sure someone here will be able to help

  8. Thanks chuck. Its been rather embarrassing, I ve been suffering from premature congratulations for sometime;)
