I know a man who can

  1. As I've said before, we're on Jeju in South Korea and the bus is in the capable hands of Barry at Lonestar in Norwich. He imported it for us and is restoring it this year whilst we are away, ready, hopefully, for us to use this summer.

This morning Barry sent me some lovely photos - WHITE! SHINY! - of recent work and I thought I'd share them.

Barry is fitting this in amongst his other work, but it is amazingly spirit lifting to see something shiny which will be a part of our bus!

    Tuesday wildchild I'm a circle!

Looks like a nice paint job, you won't recognise her/him when you return.

  6. Structure, mechanics and 'campability' are what we are concentrating on this year. Because we need the pop top fabric to be replaced, it made sense to have the roof and roof rack painted, but the rest will just be polished this year. A full respray of the rest is likely to be on the cards for next year.

  7. Any idea what sort of paint he used on the pop top, as mine needs tarting up,
    Steve,
Sorry forgot to put nice job,

  8. Do you have any pics of the bullbar fitted to the bus?

  9. Hi,

I have no idea what paint, save that it is pastel white. We bought the bull bars after the bus because I don't want the spare inside and I didn't want to hang it on the front panel either, so no pics of it fitted yet.

  10. Row- You'll have to get safely out of Cambridgeshire first!
