Try again... Ok hi chaps. I need some inspiration on what to do with the rear of my bus. So far I've got a R&R bed. I don't want cookers etc just some inspiration on what to do with the ceiling, sides, bed, floor etc on a tight budget...... Thanks in advance
My panel van interior was done on tight budget. Rusty lee rock & roll bed Bench seat / storage seat behind bulk head ( non walk through ) made by me Foam from e-bay and covered by me Roof/sides/floor/and all door cards made by me from ply from local seconds wood yard then varnished B&Q floor tiles on clearance Didn't want cooker etc in mine eaither I'll take a few pics and post tomorrow
Yes, as CraigyP says, for on the cheap the seconds wood panel, cut to fit for sides and ceiling, then sealed with clear coat, will come out great. I've used 1/8 wood panel and used the back side out to make use of the mahogany back side for a finished panel. (on another project), we loved the results. And it's easy to do with a straight edge and a box knife.
not fancy all homemade to save the pennies and lets face it its a 38 year old delivery van that will get slept in a few times a year but im happy with it
