That top chap Baysearcher kindly provided me with a replacement inlet manifold for our 1600 twin port (old one has hole in one of the heat riser pipes. So my question is what do I need to take off to get the old one off and fit the replacement? Carb, alternator? Anything else anyone can think of? Tin ware? Shouldn't take too long eh? o_O

Takes longer if it's bolted to the case. :D PITA job - so simple yet so many other things in the way. lol

    Pain In The Arse. ;)
Some bolt to the crankcase in the centre. It's not that bad really, but you might need to arm yourself with a few gaskets.

  6. they look simple to remove ..

but everything seems to get in the way...o_O

  7. Take the left manifold end off ,the right manifold rubber ,exhaust ,carb and you should be able to slide it in..

me I would remove dizzy as well because it is easy...mark the case first..
