Just had a message off apple saying all my passwords have been compromised.

    Has anyone else?

No. Make sure it’s not a scam and by changing them they can be seen.

  5. Have a look in Settings/Passwords/Security Recommendations. Apple keep track of sites/passwords have appeared in data leaks and will show which of the sites you use have been compromised.

If there's not much in there, I'd suggest it's fake. What does it say exactly.?

Been checking everything and did what you suggest, sadly…

No way has anyone hacked biggusdickus69

It’s an impregnable wall that Bletchley park in their pomp would have struggled with….

    I got that message.

Colin123 is apparently not that secure.

  13. Neither is "passwd" as a password.

  14. This is not Apple "leaking", btw. Their list I believe is compiled from password databases that have been hacked or are for sale in the darkest corners of the web. They're just just letting you know that your info appears on those dodgy lists.

There's similar compiled by an Australian fellow where you can look up your email addresses to see if the passwords are lurking out there somewhere.

  15. Exactly, this is just a warning for handling your own bad, old or known hacked passwords.
It has been around for a long time since the last Apple operating systems.

My list is considerably shorter - I still have a few acceptable very unimportant ones in there as double used ones and some of my internal test devices.

Go to your Android "Password Manager" and then "Password Checkup" to see something similar - if you have zero issues your are fine from the Googles point of view, but there could be more issues...

Well, here goes, let's have a look.
No messages from Apple, but you never know....

blimey, that was a bit scary.... but seriously, the amount of different websites we must all be logged into at some point, who really has a different password for each of them??
A few to change though, by the looks of it :(

Not me! I have the same one for scores of sites where the only data they really have is my email address. Banking is another matter.

Seems you’re right. Most of us have compromised passwords apparently. Apple are dotting the I’s and crossing the T’s!

  19. Although on checking, I do have lots of duplicated passwords
