Is the steering column shear bolt high tensile?

  2. I would of thought so ....bolts have the grade in raised didgets on the end ie 12.9

  4. ^this. Nothing special about it - replace it with an equivalent hex-head job.

    Allen key headed bolts what ya need, m8, 6'mm Allen key

  7. I ground the head flat, then cut a slot in it so I can use a big screwdriver:)

  9. I am of opinion the engine being in the boot, hence a flat front no crumple zone to speak off is a coolio safe driving aid, thou I put spare on outer front panel ,that may save me?
