Leisure battery's

Bloody 'ell there heavy. Just got a gel 110ah and it weighs a ton. I'm no weakling and even I'm struggling to carry it.

My old one is to be given away free, so check out parts for sale...

 

We bought one at a show once, the guy asked if we needed a hand taking it back to the van and we said no it'll be ok - how daft were we? It felt like miles!

 

got any info on it? i only bought a 85ah 3 years ago and am thinking of an upgrade for next year.

They also sell on ebay, which is where we got ours from - not cheap by any means, for around the same price you could have got two acid 85ah batteries.

I got a 115ah at camperjam a couple of years, walking back through the mud didn't help make it an easy carry.

 

Just imagine you slipping & sliding about.

I was surprised on the weight my 85ah is pretty light

No, never used it and it was in the way so had it cut out.

 

Yup indeed they are messy, need to find some time to tidy them up - PO or PO before them....

 

that'll be how come you can fit a tall battery in then, most of us who use the spare side have a low height one in there.

 

Battery is no higher than the old one, but was a bit tight fitting it in with the wheel well, no such problem now.
