hello everyone, apologies my first post is one begging for help - but i'm tearing my hair out (what little is left) got a 79 bay with MOT due tomorrow, doing the checks this afternoon i've found my compressed air wshers arent working. i've checked them with various pressures, checked the jets arent blocked, played with the switch at the column all to no avail. has anyone else had something else go wrong with these i can check? any help much appreciated. it's getting to the mechanical switch, and there is b;ue screenwash visible in the input and outut pipes to the switch
Strap a small child on the roof and then when the MOT tester checks them 'cough' and said child can then spray the windscreen. Your MOT tester will be none the wise
ignore me, i've fixed it. like a fool i was putting 10-15psi into the bottle and thinking it was enough. 50 psi and it works fine. gone for MOT now in the morning, hopefully it will pass seeing as it's only done 49 miles since last years test
