It looks ok in the pics but its actually very tatty.

 

My son was reading this over my shoulder as I was laughting and showed him, he said why don't they have a spare key, I said he does but it is at home , oh he answered we are very lucky tht all our keys are different then .........we won't get locked out, fair point my boy but half the time we have problems locking un locking the doors from the inside so more likley we will get locked in .......

 

Locked out? Same thing happened to me with my SJ 413 - Samurai.. My missus buggered off with my keys..
One minute with a piece of coat hanger type wire and I was in.. No damage.

Those old pull up push down to lock knobs are the worst design ever.. Put a spare key in your wallet and file off the sides of the mushroom shape on the knobs.. Later versions (most cars) have a bullet shape to them that dissapears into the door card.
Must remember this when I fit doors to my bus..

I don't have door pins - my cab doors have the lock-in-handle type arrangement on the inside.
