what I don't get is he gets out of the oversteer well then accelerates blindly into the barrier - I guess we don't know if he was looking into the sun or more likely changing a cd, or even if the passenger was tickling his chap.
I liked how the guys on the bank nearest were totally indifferent about a high speed crash happening so close to them.
What a bunch off knobs, any normal person would be straight in that water to get the people out then check to see if the remaing wheels were ok

All joking aside they were lucky to walk away from it. In my rallying days I was going to be taken around a stage in a metro 6R8, the press car, only because our car had broken down we didn't make it. The driver wrapped the car around a tree killing the passenger.
i thought the water jump was quite common at most race coarses these days no? anyway he just didnt have enough power to quite make it over , that what you call a no wheelie with two n a half suma sorts with splash
