Generally, very hard, and more noticeably heavy, especially if it lands on your feet.

But aside from that, theres not a lot that holds them in, so easy peasy.

Yes easy, they're not heavy, so just pick it up then let go both hands at once. Mind your toes.

    Don't forget the earth strap.

  7. Good thinking :)

  8. i do it with the engine out, i sit facing the bellhousing and put my legs under the gearbox and support it with my knees while I take the last bolts off, and just lower. easy.

  9. oh that what that strand of wire is, i was going to use it as a tooth pick!!

Seriously though, the engines out and I could do with doing the rod bushes so I think its a must

  10. Do it  Biggest hassle will probably be getting the driveshaft bolts off.

  11. Sounds like a recipe for bellhousing-in-the-nuts to me  You're a brave man...

  12. oh never ever though of that, it will be fine i tell myself, even though taken the engine out today and the biggest hassle was a poxy tinware screw!!!

  13. Engine out first

Its easy but you will end up with a greasy ring on your t shirt/jumper as you carry it away
You will also wonder why its leaking all of a sudden when you stand it on end

The best thing to clean it with is cif bathroom foam spray:thumbsup:

  14. It's always the small stuff

Clean your bolt heads of oily crap, use the right shaped key, and they're off...

  15. its alright, mine looks like that already...........not

  18. Depends who's been fiddling. Either Allen or Tri-square (folk like JK or even Hellfrauds will sell you one). An allen key can be made to fit both at a pinch, as I recall.

  19. wtf is a tri square? thats a new one on me

  20. made to fit at a pinch, do you mean a hammer?
