No glue. Maybe you have the remains of old glue in the channel stopping the seals bedding in.

  3. i did give them a good clean before fitting ,they seem a bit small for the door

If you didn't buy the £45 each seals, you may be fighting a loosing battle. All the others are too hard. I suspect you didn't because the good ones appear too long rather than too short.

I'm guessing it's peeling out of the channel on the "knee" of the arch? Perhaps you door needs adjusting so there are even gaps all round first.

  5. If you do have the right ones, I used some carpet spray glue, just to tack it in place.

  6. We need new door seals for all doors, so which are these £45 ones, are they from Just Kampers?

  7. original door seals were glued.... you want an impact adhesive like evostik

  8. Never bought seals from JK but I do know that C&C seals are very good. You need the expensive grey soft ones :)

They all sell the same good cab door ones AFAIK, but also they all do a range of qualities that reads crap, crap, crap and good. They're the most expensive so easy to spot.
I just fitted a very nice sliding door seal from JK - about £60.
    Tailgate hatches similar price.
Engine lid worth phoning them and asking if they have a rounded or square profile. The square ones are better. Again I just fitted one to an early (different size) from JK which was nice and soft and square. Probably £20-25.

So that's getting on for £250. Not cheap, but the cheap seals are a false economy. You may damage your doors slamming them, trying to get them shut flush and in the end give up and replace with the good ones.

  10. Thanks zed I'll look those up. When I say all doors thankfully its just the two cab doors and the sliding door that needs them, I've been worrying about slamming the sliding one without one being on, I'll get them
    ordered tonight I think;)
