Went to the boot sale the other day and found a half finished Triang police car from '63. It was missing the steering wheel, seat, and original decals...so in true 60's tradition...i rodded it for my 4 year old...Gave it a bit of 'patina' too as it was painted blue all over.Made a windscreen surround while i was at it out of a bit of hard line petrol pipe.
My wife says that "I just cant stop messing around in that bloody garage!".lol[IMG]

I made the steering wheel from an old bit of chain.I put it around a flower pot to keep it round, then welded it all together.I made a steering boss out of some old washers.

Hi Soggz. I couldn't believe it when i saw it. I had the very same pedal car when i was a kid. It would have been the early 70's. It must have been old at the time because my dad sprayed it metalic green. I remember flipping it on its side going at speed down a hill. Pure happy memories seeing it.:thumbsup:
