Non-starting bay :-(

Fitted new points and condensor to my 1978 2L Bay today and it span over then lost all power . No ignition lights , nothing , nada . Doesn't turn over now and nothing electrical works . What have I done :-(

 

blown a fuse

 

Disconnected the Earth by the sounds of it...double check your connections to the battery

 

Don't worry...complete 'catastrophes' are easier to find and rectify than intermittent faults

 

earth off or loose live on feed to starter, recheck connections - bypass van electrics and test battery - easy fix, if it isn't turning over it's battery or starter.
