... which was a labour of love and no doubt why you've decided never to restore another. Faced with the likes of that I flatly refuse, it would cost so much it would be wrong to take someone's money. Turned out nice though didn't it?
Pretty sure I looked at this one about 5 years ago just off the A1 14 miles South of Grantham and asked the question "did any one take this on?" as I didn't have the bottle to give it a go It was stored in a yard of a plant machinery repair depot and I spoke to the owner who said it was his daughters and it had blow it's engine on a trip up North but he needed rid of it as the business was up for sale Would be interested to see how the chassis has faired as this looked very well under sealed and the front panel sounded "solid" (filler?) when knocked! Will try and dig out the pictures if I can find them and good luck with the work Mr B
Hats off to you! Somebody described Winnie as scrap when I bought her, but she was an absolute minter compared to that! Like I say, I can't believe some of the amazing work that's done on this site...... To quote Wayne's World " we're not worthy!!" As regards the naming and shaming, I think if someone is really bad, they should be outed.... I couldn't sleep at night if I had anything to do with work like that.
if i did nt save it , it would be lost , yes it was a labour of love for me and adrian , but look what we ended up with , , when done i will sel it on , brand new engine owen nw
